![]() ![]() The game thrives in having a cartoony style yet still taking itself seriously. Gameplay is fast-paced and skill-based, and though some legends seem more powerful than others, it’s still up to the player to see who wins. All of the beloved traits from the other great games on this list can be found here in Apex Legends.Īpex is just a joy to play. The game has many sci-fi and fantasy elements and a cast of characters to choose from, who all have their own abilities and personalities. It also arose during the battle royale craze, yet it takes the serious gameplay of PUBG and the appealing style of Fortnite and runs with it. Drum roll, please.Īt the top of the list, we have Apex Legends, an incredibly fun first-person battle royale shooter. Released in 2012 for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. However, the fun shooter gameplay that made it popular a few years back is still there. Getting Goku-blasted by Rick Sanchez is a legitimate way to die in this game. It had amazing gameplay and the few mechanics it had worked great in its favor, but as the years went on, the game just turned goofy. If I were to write this back in 2018, Fortnite might have been number one on this list. However, you must watch out for the ever-enclosing storm. The game focuses on the gimmick of being able to build structures around you, whether it be a tower to shoot enemies or a fortified base. It’s a first-person shooter battle royale and was a result of the battle royale craze a few years back. Though the game now looks very different from what was shown in the trailer, the mechanics are still there.Īlright, if you haven’t heard of Fortnite before, I’m not sure what to tell you. Why do they have pink skin degree? I'd also recommend updating textures for the walls and floor, taking them from actual Alien Shooter. The trailer to Fornite. Textures need to be refreshed: Most importantly orange monsters. Why didn't you copy original Alien Shooter survival map instead? I'd also place ammo inside some of the boxes. No secret areas? :( What about those cracked walls that can be broken? (or maybe I just didn't find any?). Perhaps, spawns should be placed in more tricky spaces? It always comes down to me standing in front of monster spawn and spawn killing them all, one by one. Gameplay gets repetitive: And it's not one-monster-type to blame, but rather spawn system. Maybe there's some script which could prevent players from jumping on your map? I also managed to jump over the monsters and escape inevitable death. Some places can be abused: While completing the map alone, I found myself jumping on the tables and shooting the monster without any problems most of the time. At first I thought that doing everything 50-70% darker was a bad idea because players wouldn't be able to see the monsters, but then I realized that monsters always have glowing red eyes, even when it's full darkness around. Speaking of lightning, I'm not sure why would you leave red emergency lights on. Complicated lightning like the one in the demo map was brought at Alien Shooter 2. ![]() There only was two options: Light ON, and light OFF, which blocked all the doors and made everything harder to see. If you remember old alien shooter 1, it never had complicated lightning. The lightning is strange a bit: Some areas are dark, some are light. ![]() They also were present in some of the demo versions. I would also recommend adding one more monster model to the map, which is that big two-legged monster (unarmed version). Obviously, current monsters are just temporary substitute for HD models, but they really ruin the immersion as soon as they come closer. ![]()
